Please Stand By…

…while we calmly await the beginning of the fall quarter. My school-let’s call it Cascadia State College-marches very much to its own drummer, and its schedule is no exception. While my wife started her graduate program in mid-August and my children went back to the classroom a week later, I have had the last month off, so to speak. As a stay-at-home dad, I’ve managed to keep fairly busy with the usual daily grind of homework supervision, laundry, housework, and catching up with season 1 of “Dollhouse.” (All work and no play, right? And NO SPOILERS!) Meanwhile, I was taking notes and making plans for this year-long project. I’ve since gotten approval from my faculty supervisor, but since I’m still awaiting the OK from The Dean, and the fall quarter doesn’t actually start until next Monday, I feel like I’m in blog-limbo here.

Anyway, the weather’s nice.
